  • Requirements

    • Able to climb up into and down out of roll-off tractors/end dumps/containers/tanks/flatbeds, etc.

    • Able to raise and lower trailer landing gear by operating hand crank mechanisms in all types of weather conditions; fastening chains or binders to secure loads on trailers during transit

    • Able to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop and squat as well as grip, and lift seventy-five (75) lbs. to the waist and forty-two (42) lbs. overhead during the loading or unloading process

    • Able to walk, bend, reach push, pull and climb, as necessary, to perform vehicle inspections required by FMCSR Section 396.13

    • Other job-related duties assigned by management

    • Will be exposed to a physical environment, involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday

    • Interact in a courteous manner with employees, customers and the public

    • Promote a culture of teamwork through positive communication, leading by example


    Other Requirements

    • Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to DOT and Company standards

    • Maintain Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) and Medical Card

    • Able to work overtime

    • Able to work nights and weekends, as required

    • Must be reliable and punctual

    • Able to enter and work in plants/refineries requiring a respirator on any given workday
